COVID-19 UPDATE

Update March 18th

Hello,

We know it can feel like the whole word has gone crazy right now. I know many of you are feeling the pain of this virus for various reasons. Even though we are feeling the effects of our broken world we still believe that we have a good God and that Jesus wants us to experience true life. We want to help you during this time experience who he is and what this means. You can begin to connect with us online here.

If you are following the news you know that the Federal Government has said gatherings of 10 or more people should not happen for the next couple weeks. The CDC said gatherings of 50 or more should not happen for 8 weeks. In Colorado there is a larger gathering closure for 30 days, in Denver an 8-week Restaurant (in-person) closure. This stuff is constantly changing. But what it means is that at the least we will not be gathering on Sunday in our normal way for several weeks. We want to obey the law, honor our leaders, and love our neighbors by keeping that curve flat. So we are following the lead of what is recommended (and required) by law.

Things are going to look different for a while but it doesn’t mean you have to (or should) put faith and friendship on hold. You still have opportunities to connect with Jesus and connect with others. And we want to help. Start connecting online here.

Everything around us might be in flux, unknown, and changing. There is a lot of uncertainty. A lot that is not the same as it was. But Jesus has not changed. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb13:8). He is today who he was a few months ago. He will be tomorrow what he was 500 years ago. His character is the same. His love is the same. His Kingdom is the same. We have the same Savior, King, and Father that we have always had. Let’s press into what he has for us.

We will be staying up to date on the situation and make changes and communicate them as things progress.

During the craziness of COVID-19 How can you still experience the faith and friendship God wants for you?

If you are new here, it can feel like a strange time to explore church. But we know that our need for life with God and life with others is, if anything, stronger during times like these. And we want to help you experience all that God has for you.

Here’s what that looks like right now:

  1. Attend a service online.
    • Every week at 10AM we have an online service
    • You can listen to past sermons here
    • You can watch our past online services here
  2. Fill out our Connect Card – you can do that here. This will help us follow up with you and give your more information.
  3. Get Connected to our Online Community
    • The First step to connect to our community is to attend our Virtual Pastor’s Meetup
    • After you attend A VPM we will help you get connected to our Online Community Groups. Here you can find a group of people for prayer, study, help, conversation, and more. We may be social-distancing but it doesn’t mean we can’t also have distance-socializing.
    • You can also follow us on social media here and here
